Wausau releases Optima3's next generation

MOSINEE, Wis. - Wausau has announced the release of the next generation of Optima3, Wausau's enterprise content management solution.
According to a news release, the next generation follows a successful beta installation with Carrollton Bank, a subsidiary of Carrollton Bancorp in Baltimore. Optima3 IMS 6.2 - an enterprise-wide document-management and archive solution that captures, stores and manages paper documents, reports, application files, e-mails and Web content - features functionality, in addition to new product modules, that gives enhanced security and solution integration on an enterprise-wide basis.
The enhanced offering incorporates a secure password service that automates the process for changing a database password.
"Partnering with Wausau on the upgrade from IMS 3.7 to 6.2 was very exciting for us," said Vic Zubar, Carrollton Bank's vice president. "We strive to incorporate the latest technology into our operations."
