Wausau releases next-generation remittance-processing solution

July 6, 2006

MOSINEE, Wis. - Wausau Financial Systems has released the latest version of its ImageRPS remittance solution, version 4.00.02a, the company announced in a news release. The new version is expected to expand accounts receivable conversion options and enhance security capabilities by adding image-quality-assurance and image-exchange capabilities.

The ImageRPS remittance-processing solution provides hardware and software imaging technology that automates deposit creation, account posting and image archiving of payments. The new release provides duplicate processing detection, full-page optical-character-reader software, dual-monitor display and Web-exception enhancements. It also has the ability to run its second-pass operation after data consolidation is complete, thus eliminating the potential for bottlenecks by the second-pass process. And ImageRPS can provide common posting, reporting, archiving and output for all transactions when utilizing Wausau's Digital Lockbox solution.

New ARC features include the ability to convert checks that are part of a multitype transaction into ACH format and integration with the JPMorgan Chase ARC decisioning engine. ImageRPS also integrates IQA software and X9 file generation with the ARC solution to provide complete electronic clearing.
