WAUSAU certifies CTS check scanner

BURLINGTON, Mass. — WAUSAU Financial Systems has certified the CTS LS100 check scanner, which is manufactured by CTS North America, a supplier of cash and check solutions for merchant, teller, branch, self-service systems and retail point-of-sale counters.
According to a news release, the integration of CTS' desktop check-scanning technology with WFS' remote deposit capture solution, WebDDL, allows any size financial institution or merchant to benefit from scalability, reliability and affordability in its check processing operation.
The CTS scanners are being sold, serviced and delivered to WFS and their customers through MTS Software Solutions. MTS, through its companies PMI Imaging Systems and AMI Imaging, is the master distributor of CTS check scanning equipment in North America. Under the agreement with CTS, MTS provides sales, service and logistical support for all CTS check scanning products.
CTS North America's LS100 check scanner is designed for teller and remote deposit capture check processing and image capture applications with the smallest footprint in its class. Available in single and multifeed (52 checks per minute), the LS100 offers essential technological features, including grayscale or color front and/or rear check image capture, MICR reader, rear endorsement ink-jet printer and a self-inking front voidance stamp.
