Volante Technologies, a payments-as-a-service company, teamed up with fintech company Circle Internet Group Inc. to help financial institutions integrate and evaluate stablecoin payments, according to a press release.
Volante will provide its USDC workflows via its AI Payments Platform so banks can see how stablecoins can operate with existing payment rails and on- and off-ramps. Banks will not need a separate digital asset stack to use this platform. With this platform, banks can see how USDC can work within their systems.
"As stablecoins become an increasingly important component of modern payments infrastructure, financial institutions need practical ways to understand how digital dollars can fit within existing operations. Our collaboration with Volante does exactly that by bringing USDC capabilities into the systems, controls, and processes banks already use, and helping them move from exploration toward operational implementation," Nikhil Chandhok, chief product and technology officer, Circle, said in the release.
