Visual Control upgrade improves uptime for CUs' ATMs

February 11, 2014

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based CUSO Co-op has announced an upgrade to ATM Visual Control that adds Remote Manager, a feature that enables remote maintenance by the CUSO on behalf of client ATMs.

"There are very few things more crucial to an outstanding member experience than what your member sees at the ATM," said Stan Hollen, president and CEO of Co-op Financial Services. "The addition of Remote Manager to Co-op ATM Visual Control not only enhances the member experience, but also helps give credit unions a comprehensive tool to help maximize uptime."

The new feature provides the ability to remotely:

  • distribute customized screen branding and images that are part of the transaction, and not just an introductory or concluding screen;
  • troubleshoot ATMs with remote uploading of event and error logs;
  • acquire important ATM data such as application and operating system versions and configurations for all machines in the fleet; and
  • reboot ATMs.

Introduced in 2011, Co-op ATM Visual Control provides multi-vendor device support to manage a credit union's ATM fleet with a single Web-based application.
