December 3, 2008
VietNamNet:The director of the HCM City branch of the State Bank of Vietnam Ho Huu Hanh says the end of 2009 would be a good time for banks in Vietnam to begin collecting ATM fees. Hanh says collecting ATM fees is a legitimate right of commercial banks, and that the end of 2009 is a perfect time to initiate the fee process, since the country's ATM network will be more mature by then and consumers will be more accustomed to using ATMs.
