Associated Press: T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Va., wants to use a newly-installed ATM as a teaching tool to help students better manage their money.
School officials say they asked the Alexandria City Employees Credit Union to install the machine because so many students have ATM cards.
The director of the school's Academy of Finance says she hopes workshops will increase students' awareness about the need to control their money. Students enrolled in the finance course will use the ATM without paying a fee; everyone else must pay $1.50.
