U.K. says fee-free ATMs are not threatened

Reuters: The House of Commons Treasury Committee said July 18 that fee-free ATMs in the United Kingdom are not threatened by the spread of ATMs that charge fees. The government said it would monitor availability of non-charging ATMs but that the number of free machines was rising and there were other ways for people to get cash without incurring charges.
