UK IAD, Netherlands anti-skimming vendor strike distribution deal

The UK's Acketts Group Ltd. has inked an exclusive deal to distribute CSPtec's patent-pending Secure Card Feeder, a mechanical anti-skimming device.

Acketts Group Ltd., a U.K.-based ATM project management and installation provider, has announced its appointment as the exclusive U.K. distributor for CSPtec, a Netherlands-based provider of anti-skimming solutions for financial and commercial industries.

According to the CSPtec website, the company's main product is the Secure Card Feeder, a mechanical anti-skimming device. The cardholder inserts a bankcard sideways into the reader, which then completes the card swipe within a protected environment.

According to a press release, the CSPtec deal continues an upward trajectory of growth in recent years by Acketts, a company that provides ATM services, security and products.

"This recent alliance will strengthen our ATM installation and security capabilities across the U.K., with further growth planned," Acketts Managing Director Hilary Fearn said in the release. "Our experience in the ATM industry allows us to target services and products that ultimately provide a fully managed end-to-end solution, and our clients will continue to receive the high quality solutions they have come to expect."
