Uganda Bank deploys first off-premise ATM

Uganda's Bank of Baroda has deployed its first off-premise ATM, according to a report from New Vision Online.

"Considering the growing significance of electronic channels of service delivery in the banking industry, the establishment of an off-site ATM will increase market penetration," said Apollo Obbo, the director of commercial banking at the Bank of Uganda.
