Two INETCO board members join INETCO's senior management

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — INETCO Systems Ltd. has named Mark Johnston and Dr. Mike Blackstock, both former board members, to the respective roles of chief operating officer and vice president of research and development.
"Mark and Mike's experience and backgrounds were very important to their roles with our board and they helped tremendously to get us where we are today," said Bijan Sanii, president and chief executive of INETCO. "They both influenced the development of our strategies over the past two and a half years and now we're going to leverage that experience as we shift gears and go to market."
With more than 25 years experience, Johnston is an authority on selling disruptive technologies and building strong partner ecosystems around them. Prior to joining INETCO, he was vice president of sales and technical marketing at Intrinsyc Software Inc., and before Intrinsyc he spent 22 years focused on communications technologies and global markets at Intel Corp. His efforts helped make Intel a top player in both the communications infrastructure and cellular handset silicon markets.
Blackstock is a veteran technology leader with a proven track record in delivering innovative products for enterprise and service-provider customers. Previously he was a co-founder and chief technology officer for Colligo Networks Inc., a leading provider of peer-to-peer wireless productivity software designed for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled notebooks, Tablet PCs, and handhelds. He also was vice president of research and development for Infowave Software Inc., a global provider of software that connects enterprise applications to wireless devices.
