NEW YORK - Dover Corporation, the parent company of ATM manufacturer Triton, reported net earnings of $112.3 million or 54 cents a share for 2004's second quarter, compared to $72.8 million or 36 cents a share in 2003's second quarter.
Sales during the most recent quarter were $1.3 billion, up 26 percent from $1 billion in sales during 2003's second quarter.
In Dover Industries, the division that includes Triton, net earnings rose 29 percent, from $27.7 million in 2003's second quarter to $35.8 million in the most recent quarter. Sales rose from $255.6 million in 2003's second quarter to $303.5 million in the latest quarter.
According to Dover financials, "a 32 percent increase in international unit sales contributed to Triton's solid performance."
