Triton president elected to ATMIA executive board

BROOKINGS, S.D. and CAPE TOWN, South Africa - Brian Kett, president of Triton, one of the world's leading providers of off-premise ATMs, has been elected to the ATM Industry Association's executive board.

ATMIA is a non-profit trade association with more than 600 members in 40 countries. Kett was elected by the North America board members to replace Ernest Burdette, who retired from the board earlier this year, as the North America member-elected director on the executive board. 

"Brian's first-hand and long-term experience in the area of finance, budgeting, policy-making, business development and human resources in the industry, will be a key asset to the ATMIA executive board," said Lana Harmelink, the association's international director of operations.

"Democratic elections to our highest decision-making authority like this show we are serious about accountability to, and direct representation of, our members," added Mike Lee, ATMIA's chief executive.

Kett is expected to fill the vacant member-elected director position on the board until the next board elections at ATMIA's major annual conference in Florida in February 2007.

Kett thanked the ATMIA and expressed his appreciation for the vote of confidence from the association.

"It will be a privilege to serve my company and industry colleagues as a member of the ATMIA executive board," he said.  "My views of business development and global opportunities are consistent with those of ATMIA, and I look forward to sharing my abilities and experiences with the ATMIA as a member of its executive board."
