MEMPHIS, Tenn. - ATM manufacturer Triton Systems July 21 celebrated the grand opening of its Memphis facility.
The new facility and additional staff are part of Triton's disaster-preparedness plan to provide back-up capabilities for Triton's Gulf Port, Miss., manufacturing plant.
According to a news release, the Memphis facility now houses Triton's technical-training department as well as additional staff for technical support, customer service, parts and repair operations.
"With the office being located near a distribution hub (FedEx), one key advantage is the ability to provide quicker turnaround on parts orders which are received later in the day," said Gavin Cushman, Triton's vice president of global services. "In the event of a natural disaster, having a back-up service and systems infrastructure will minimize the impact such an event will have on our customers."
