Triton offers 'trade-up' version of 9100 ATM

LONG BEACH, Miss. - Beginning in January, Tritonwill offer its 9100 model with either a single denomination bill dispenser mechanism that holds 1,800 used notes or a trade-up version without a dispenser.

According to a news release, a workable dispenser mechanism from an older Triton or another manufacturer's ATM can be placed in the new Triton 9100 that meets the industry's security requirements for an Encrypting PIN Pad (EPP) and Triple DES. Triton's 9100 also meets proposed and existing ADA guidelines.

"This new configuration of the 9100 model will give ATM owners more options, cost solutions and potential installation sites," said Triton President Brian Kett. "We are committed to solving compliance challenges for our customers. The evolution of this popular ATM will do just that."

According to the release, demand has been high for the 9100 and 9100 trade-up models since Triton unveiled them at the recent National Association of Convenience Stores conference in Las Vegas.
