RESTON, Va. -- Transaction Network Services, Inc. announced that it has signed an agreement with BB&T Corporation to provide enhanced ATM technology and transaction transport services.
BB&T will use the TNS TransXpress 1000 modem and the TNS Host Interface Processor to convert approximately 250 ATMs from multi-drop leased lines to a dial-up network.
BB&T, based in Winston-Salem, NC, operates 536 banking offices in the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC and has more than 740 ATMs currently in service.
