NEEDHAM, Mass. - TowerGroup's 2006 Financial Services Business & Technology Conference and Exhibition May 31- June 2, is slated to feature four in-depth tracks with presentations from TowerGroup analysts, industry executives and college professors.
According to a news release, the Boston conference will cover an array of topics, including wireless initiatives in financial services and global trends affecting the industry as a whole.
Conference keynote speakers include Paul Simpson, senior vice president and business executive of Trade and Emerging Payment Channels for JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services; Seth Merrin, chief executive of Liquidnet Holdings; Thomas W. Malone, an information systems professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and author of "The Future of Work - How the New Order of Business Will Shape Your Organization, Your Management Style, and Your Life"; and Peyton Manning, quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts.
Bob Egan, research director of the TowerGroup Emerging Technologies practice, will lead a general session panel titled, "Mobility: Navigating the Options and Making Hard Choices." The panel will feature top financial-services executives charged with leading wireless initiatives within their firms.
Track-sessions topics include: "Innovation in Capital Markets: Separating the Hype from the Reality," "Around the World in 40 Minutes: A Look at Hot Topics Across the Global Banking Industry," and "How to Outrun a Bear: Staying Ahead of Online Fraud."
