LONDON -- British ISO Cardpoint plc has selected Transaction Network Services (TNS) to provide its ATM processing and networking facilities.
According to a news release, Cardpoint -- which generates approximately 580,000 transactions a month at its machines -- is the first major operator in the UK to use a supplier other than Atmos for its ATM network.
Mark Mills, Cardpoint chief executive, said in a news release,"We are embarking on a new relationship with TNS due to its ability to provide an all-in-one communication solution. We have great faith that its people and technology are innovative and flexible enough to meet our changing needs."
"To have secured the business is a real boost, and I think this indicates an increasing awareness by financial services providers that they are likely to benefit most from a partner that has the technological expertise to offer a flexible end-to-end solution rather than just a network or processing service," said Ray Low, TNS UK's managing director, in the release.
The release noted that TNS' global network will facilitate the plans of Cardpoint or other ATM operators looking to expand into new markets.
