BURNABY, British Columbia - Info Touch Technologies Corp. announced in a July 13 news release the deployment of 15 Speed e-connect kiosks at 15 Speedway locations in Toledo, Ohio. This expansion follows the January 2005 launch of a Speed e-connect network in Dayton, Ohio.
Store patrons can pay their utility and cable bills, for instance, in cash at the kiosks, which are powered by Info Touch's Premiere software.The kiosks are part of Info Touch's TIO Network, which is currently serving customers in 22 U.S. states, Puerto Rico and British Columbia.
Info Touch and Speedway plan to add additional Speed e-connect products and services such as money order, money transfer, prepaid credit and debit cards, check cashing and mobile content. The release did not state when those additional services are expected to hit the market.
