Tidel, Ten Square partner to deliver interactive ATM content

February 17, 2002

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Ten Square, an interactive point-of-sale (POS) broadcasting and publishing company, and Tidel Technologies, Inc.(Nasdaq: ATMS), have signed a strategic agreement to deliver interactive digital content to Tidel's ATM products. The partnership will enable Ten Square to offer its network on all new Tidel ATMs and more than 25,000 existing Tidel retail ATMs nationwide.

Ten Square will certify Tidel's Web-enabled, advanced function Chameleon ATMs and the lower-end Ignition series ATMs to ensure the platforms are compatible with Ten Square's networking system.

Utilizing a proprietary bandwidth technology, Ten Square will broadcast interactive digital content over a secure, Internet-based network to certified Tidel ATMs. ATM owners will be able to provide demographic and geographic-specific offers to customers in their own local community while creating a new revenue source. Additionally, consumers will receive promotions and coupons.

"With Ten Square, we expect to provide one-stop, turnkey advertising solutions that will maximize the revenue potential for ATM owners using the latest preference-based marketing tools," said Mark K. Levenick, COO of Tidel.

"We are pleased to enter into a partnership with one of the nation's leading ATM manufacturers and a pioneer in the web-enabled ATM market," said Scott Slinker, CEO and president of Ten Square. "Our partnership extends the scope of our network capabilities to include all of Tidel's ATM products and reinforces our ubiquity in the retail petroleum footprint."
