HOUSTON - Tidel is introducing its first through-the-wall ATM, the 3700, in Booth #2256 at the BAI Retail Delivery Show in New Orleans Nov. 19-20.
According to a news release, the new model is targeted toward both financial institutions and retailers who require rear-load access.
The fully weatherized 3700 runs on an Intel XScale processor with a Windows CE operating system.
Features include a 10.4-inch color screen, rear touchscreen service display that can be adjusted to 3 different positions based on location/installation requirements, and a large capacity dispenser with bundled note presenter that can be upgraded up to four cassettes
Tidel expects to go into full production early in 2004's second quarter, according to the release.
"This platform will provide a cost effective solution for both retailers and financial institutions looking for the latest in through-the-wall features, compliance and reliability," said Matt Johnson, Tidel's vice president of marketing.
