Tidel EPP receives Visa approval

HOUSTON - Tidel Technologies, Inc. has received a letter of approval from Visa International atttesting that the Encrypting PIN Pad (EPP) model used in the Company's 3000 Series ATM products complies with Visa's new PIN Entry Device security requirements.

The EPP model was evaluated and tested by InfoGard Laboratories, Inc. of San Luis Obispo, Calif., to confirm that it meets the new requirements.

"Tidel remains committed to maintaining the highest level of security in our equipment," said Mark Levenick, president and CEO of Tidel Engineering, L.P., the company's operating unit."Further, we will continue to focus on providing our customers with products that meet or exceed current and future industry guidelines."
