Tidel CEO Rash takes leave of absence

HOUSTON -- James T. Rash, chairman, chief executive officer and chief financial officer of ATM manufacturer Tidel Technologies (Nasdaq:ATMS) has taken a leave of absence for personal health reasons.

Tidel's Board of Directors has appointed Mark K. Levenick, Tidel's chief operating officer, to the position of Interim CEO. The company's Audit Committee, chaired by Raymond P. Landry, will provide additional oversight for various financial responsibilities during Rash's absence.
