Thieves steal $600K from Caribbean ATM

Thieves stole $600,000 from an ATM in St. James, Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. Security officials noticed the software of an RBC Royal Bank ATM had been tampered with, according to a report by Trinidad Express.

Further investigation revealed the ATM was not working and that thieves had tampered with it to steal cash. This is the second time in less than two weeks that criminals have stolen money from ATMs in the area.
