The (Delaware) News Journal:State police are searching for three thieves who stole nearly $75,000 from Wilmington Trust customers after rigging an ATM to obtain card data and PINs. The thieves skimmedinformation from the cards' magnetic strips and watched customers as they keyed their PINs with a small video camera installed on a shelf above the terminal. The bank became aware of the fraud after numerous customers reported large amounts were being withdrawn from their accounts at ATMs in Bulgaria. There also was a flurry of activity in Newark, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. About 140 customers were affected, the bank said.
