Techcombank springs for new SunGard ATM reconciliation solution

Just yesterday, SunGard announced the addition of an ATM and card reconciliation solution to its IntelliMatch Operational Control software suite. Today, the company is announcing the deployment of this new technology at Techcombank, also known as the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint-Stock Bank. 

The bank will use IntelliMatch Operational Control technology to automate its cash, ATM and card reconciliations to help drive business efficiency and growth, according to a report by BBR.

Techcombank chief technology officer Phung Quang Hung said that SunGard provides multi-asset expertise, particularly in ATM reconciliation.

"SunGard's IntelliMatch Operational Control provides us with a rule-based, configurable engine which supports inward and outward reconciliation for both domestic and international payments," Quang Hung said.

The new solution will replace manual reconciliation at the bank, allowing bank employees to focus instead on value-added tasks. The single, centralized computer platform for cash, card and ATM transactions, will boost efficiency, decrease error and reduce operational risk, BBR said in the article.
