TD Bank has significantly expanded its ATM footprint in Massachusetts with an agreement to brand 143 ATMs in select Walgreens locations across the state, according to a press release.
The deal marks TD's first expansion within a retail ATM network, and reflects a focus on providing convenient banking options to customers, the FI said.
"We're giving TD Bank customers in Massachusetts more access to their money by offering ATMs in select Walgreens locations, while also introducing non-TD Bank customers to our brand," Mark Crandall, regional president for TD Bank, said in the release. "As a retail leader with a keen focus on convenience, Walgreens is a natural fit as we grow our brand in one of our key markets."
The initiative represents a collaboration between TD Bank and independent ATM network owner-operator Cardtronics Inc., which provides ATM services to Walgreens.
