SURVEY: Australians prefer net banking

The (Australian) Advertiser: Online banking is the most popular way for Australians to undertake financial transactions, according to a survey conducted by Galaxy Research.

In an E-Money survey for Australia's Commonwealth Bank, the research company found that 85 percent of Australians preferred online banking to traditional banking methods. About 6.8 million Australians, equal to 44 percent of the adult population, have banked online.
