Star USA Federal Credit Union partners with Dolphin Debit

Star USA Federal Credit Union has selected Dolphin Debit to handle its ATM operators.

Based in Charleston, West Virginia, the credit union has 15,000 members, according to a press release.

"With the size of our credit union, it was difficult to find a vendor that made owning our own ATMs easy and affordable," Jennifer Rutherford, SVP, Star USA Federal Credit Union, said in the release. "After we purchased the ATMs, we then had the service agreements, then there would be an upgrade to the software needed. And even with service agreements, so many of the service calls were outside the scope of the agreement that we ended up with additional expense monthly."

Dolphin Debit handles the software and hardware upgrades for its eight ATMs, of which five are in branches and others are located offsite. Star USA selected Dolphin due to its transparency and cost structure.

"Often credit unions who have been dealing with their own ATM fleets for a long time just can't appreciate how much easier their lives will be with the right ATM management partner," Joe Woods, SVP of marketing and partnerships for Dolphin Debit, said in the release. "The peace of mind they can gain is really a great feeling."
