MAITLAND, Fla. -- Star Systems, Inc.has introduced STAR STATION, an online integrated communication and transaction information platform that allows Star members to generate detailed transaction history reports -- going back 120 days -- on individual cardholders, including exception processing information.
According to Star Systems, STAR STATION brings together a variety of communication and information tools, including the former HONOR Exception Resolutions System, in one place.
The features include: an electronic library with word search capability of operating rules, manuals, bulletins, calendars, annual reports and other updates; a searchable STAR member directory with interactive capabilities for contacting colleagues at other institutions; an ATM and POS locator that can be updated by participating institutions and provides detailed information on the characteristics of the ATM and its transactional capabilities; a full collection of STAR's marketing materials, including graphic standards, current promotions, white papers, and research; and online registration for seminars and training.
Beth Lynn, senior vice president for member relations at Star, called the system "the portal for everything you need from STAR."
The leading electronic payments network in the U.S., Star processes more than 2.7 billion transactions a year, via nearly 3,500 member financial institutions and 620,000 participating ATMs and merchant locations such as grocery stores, gas stations and discount stores.
