ST. LOUIS - Sprint has certified JBM Electronics' Gateway C200 wireless router for use on its nationwide CDMA data network, according to a news release. The Gateway C200 family of routers provides CDMA connectivity for any legacy or IP-capable device, including ATMs.
"Sprint is excited to work with the new JBM Wireless Connector Series," said Patrick Urgento, national account manager of Sprint Telemetry Solutions, in the release. "These cost-effective transaction routers, along with Sprint's telemetry offerings, will give users an entirely new alternative for reliable, low-cost network connectivity."
JBM Electronics, a leader in the protocol conversion industry, offers a wide selection of wireless routers to take advantage of CDMA connectivity. JBM Electronics' CDMA solution includes improved transaction speeds, enhanced security and lower costs, in addition to the mobility provided by wireless communications.
CDMA technology figures to be especially attractive for connectivity of retail ATMs, the release noted.
