Smartlink, MasterCard launch online payment platform in Vietnam

The Paypers:Vietnam-based card-services provider Smartlink and MasterCard have partnered to activate an online payment portal in Vietnam that processes transactions made via online shops. The portal is designed to handle the transactions of items and services using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Diners Club. Seventeen out of the 25 Vietnamese banks have joined the Smartlink network and now operate 3 million cards at more than 2,000 ATMs and 6,000 POS systems.
