Self-Service World publishes application-software guide
April 3, 2007
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Self-Service World, a site dedicated to the self-service industry and a sister site of ATM Marketplace, has published "Application Software," a comprehensive guide about software for kiosk and self-service projects.
The guide, published in partnership with St. Clair Interactive Communications Inc., covers operating systems, how to take an inventory of enterprise software assets, dealing with the generational life of software, as well as how to assemble a team that will manage application software.
"Software is the pulse of self-service technology, and the importance of making smart choices at the software-planning stage cannot be overstated," said James Bickers, author of the guide and editor of Digital Signage Today, a new ATM Marketplace sister site. "It's a big topic, but this guide provides a useful set of checklists, a sort of hand-in-hand walk-through of the planning process."
The Application Software guide is available in PDF format, at no charge, from Self-Service World.
