ePaynews:By 2010, the global market for self-service machines will exceed $24 billion, up from about $11.3 billion in 2005. The average annual growth rate for the industry is expected to be 17 percent, according to a new report, "Self-Service Markets: Prospects for ATMs, Kiosks & Vending Machines," by BCC Research. The report also predicts that 2.8 million self-service devices will be in use by 2010. Vending machines and ATMs will drive market growth as consumers begin to recognize their convenience and cost efficiency. Global adoption of self-service terminals will similarly increase as growing economic regions tap the accessibility of those devices.
