SDM International and Trusted Security Solutions Announce Marketing Relationship

Raleigh, NC & Charlotte, NC-(February 2000)-SDM International, a leading provider of electronic funds transfer (EFT) and electronic data interchange (EDI) communications software and Trusted Security Solutions, provider of ATM security products, have agreed to build an interface between SDM�s OCM24 software and Trusted Security�s A98� ATM Initial Key Establishment System. SDM will become a distributor the A98 product line.

SDM's OCM24 product is an advanced retail banking delivery system used by financial institutions of all types and sizes to manage proprietary and shared automatic teller machine (ATM) and point-of-sale (POS) networks. Running on the full range of IBM System/390 platforms, OCM24 provides device management, transaction control, authorization, shared networking, cardholder management, and data encryption.

Trusted Security Solutions, Inc. offers a simple and affordable solution to the Visa� requirement of a unique initial key per ATM. The "A98 Initial ATM Key Establishment System" implements a total solution for institutions that manage the cryptographic keys for ATMs. The A98 system, which requires no change to the ATM, includes patent pending technology for establishing initial ATM keys in a manner that is compliant with all applicable industry standards and network operating rules.

Dennis G. Abraham, president of Trusted Security Solutions, Inc. has over 15 years experience in the retail financial transaction processing. Mr. Abraham is the past chairman of ASC Working Group X9A3 that developed the X9.8 PIN Management Standard and the X9.24 Retail Key Management Standard. He states, "The A98 key management solution, interfaced with an OCM24 host, provides the ATM network with an automated method to efficiently load ATM keys, while meeting all compliance regulations."
