S.C. credit union signs with TEKchand for ATM management platform

January 11, 2010

Chicago-based TEKchand LLC, a provider of ATM-channel-management solutions, says it has signed a deal with Columbia, S.C.-based AllSouth Federal Credit Union (more than $500 million in assets) to license its ATMLive Manager Platform for managing content and electronic journals on legacy and Windows-based ATMs.

According to a news release, TEKchand's platform combines a remote distribution system with a Web interface to enable ATM screen changes for marketing messages, as well as a complete solution for uploading, viewing and managing electronic journal data in a multivendor ATM network.

"We evaluated the options available and had three specific ROI criteria that had to be met; a single application to remotely manage both ATM screen content and electronic journals, one that would work across our entire ATM infrastructure, both legacy Fujitsu and newer NCR ATMs, and lastly, the chosen solution must be easily implemented without a resource commitment from our internal staff," said Maude Goodson, AllSouth's ATM system administrator, "With TEKchand's comprehensive application suite and appliance-based delivery model, we do not have to deploy multiple solutions from different vendors to meet each specific need, and implementation was easy."

TEKchand offers content management, terminal management, transaction personalization and targeted marketing, to name a few; and each application can be implemented as part of a comprehensive program or customized to meet the needs of each client.

"With our appliance delivery model, ATMContentPro, we were able to implement a packaged solution of hardware, operating software, application software, firewalls and database functionality so AllSouth could be up running with minimal resources," said Rajeev Bahri, managing director of TEKchand.
