Sales vet Hicks joins CDS

February 2, 2004

NEW ORLEANS - Bobby Hicks, an ATM industry veteran who has worked for several transaction processors during his career, has joined third-party processor Columbus Data Services(CDS) as sales manager.

"Bobby has a good work ethic," said Ron Schuldt, president of CDS, in a news release. "He knows the business and he knows the players in the industry. I think Bobby can help CDS as we continue to grow."

"I'm excited at the opportunity to team up again with industry veterans Ron (Schuldt) and John (Willmon)," said Hicks, who will be based in the Dallas area and may be reached at 214-564-2054.

He added, "CDS has a unique market position to offer some advanced products and services in addition to the standard EFT processor package. My role and personal goal is to further establish CDS as a recognized brand and to expand its market share to another level."

In addition to transaction processing, CDS provides vault cash services and terminal driving services for ISOs throughout the United States. The company's vault cash program recently exceeded $100 million in outstandings, according to the release.
