Royal Banks of Missouri to deliver video-assisted banking with POPio

May 9, 2019

POPio Mobile Video Cloud, an interactive mobile video banking solution, has announced its implementation by Royal Banks of Missouri, a community bank in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

POPio merges mobile video chat with real-time collaboration between consumer and financial institution via any digital channel to facilitate complex banking tasks, including in-video transactions, document approvals and applications, secure document exchanges, consultations, account management and more, according to press release.

Royal Banks of Missouri customers can access their FI's video banking collaboration center via website or mobile app on any personal device.

The POPio executive dashboard and support center provide detailed call histories, analytics and advanced management functions, including emotive recognition.

The platform is easily deployed within existing systems and allows smooth presentation of loan origination system documents and incorporation of other current customer service applications, the release said.

"POPio couldn't be happier to join forces with Royal Banks of Missouri to enable highly engaged interactions for personalized sales and service opportunities," said POPio founder and CEO Gene Pranger, who originated the concept of video banking with the Interactive Teller Machine and developed POPio as the completion of that vision. "With POPi/o, financial institutions can now offer customized, one-on-one services once only available inside the branch to any digital channel for the most seamless consumer banking experience possible."
