ReD confirms interest in buying related business

Digital Transactions:In a statement released Oct. 7, Retail Decisions PLC confirmed it is seeking to buy an unnamed company "whose key activities are complementary to those of ReD." In confirming what it called a "market rumor" about a pending transaction, the United Kingdom-based transaction processor and Internet payments gateway said its discussions "may or may not" result in a deal.

ReD's U.S. arm is Retail Decisions USA Inc.
