Quatrro wins Visa nod to provide global third-party processing

Bangladesh-based Quatrro Processing Services has received certification from Visa Inc to operate as a global VisaNet third-party processor. This will allow Quatrro to connect directly to VisaNet and provide issuer and acquirer card processing services to domestic and foreign financial institutions, merchants and other service providers, according to a press release.

"Financial institutions are actively looking for innovative business models to introduce new products and services, accelerate their time to market and reduce overall total cost of ownership of banking technologies and processing capabilities," said Quatrro SVP Rajesh Dhuddu. "Quatrro is uniquely poised to partner with such financial institutions in Bangladesh to accomplish these objectives."
