CINCINNATI, Ohio - Provident Bank has signed a five-year extension of its agreement to operate ATMs at United Dairy Farmers locations.
Financial terms of the extension were not disclosed.
Provident will continue to be the exclusive provider of ATM services at all 188 UDF locations, as it has since 1999. The agreement will continue beyond the closing of its sale to Cleveland-based National City Corp, a $2.1 billion acquisition that is expected to close in the second quarter.
"Provident helped UDF install its first ATM and has provided consistent service ever since," said David Lindner, UDF vice president and director of marketing.
Provident has 480 ATMs throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, including locations at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores, Paul Brown Stadium, Great American Ballpark and Riverbend Music Center. Provident also has two mobile ATMs available throughout the summer at festivals, fairs and sporting events in Greater Cincinnati.
Provident was one of the first banks in the Cincinnati region to offer bilingual ATMs. The bank has 40 bilingual ATMs in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio.
