DALLAS - Switch Commerce, a privately-held ATM transaction processor with operations in Dallas and San Diego, Calif., is introducing VoiceTMS, a phone-based system that can provide real-time ATM management capabilities with no Internet access required.
According to a news release, VoiceTMS offers the ability to add new terminals, bind master keys, check a terminal's status and receive terminal alerts, including low-cash and offline ATMs, via a phone call. The voice-driven system is integrated with the company's Web-based terminal management system.
"We believe the telephone should be a natural extension of the ISO's office and portfolio management capabilities," said Timothy J. Warner, the company's president. "The anywhere anytime aspect of VoiceTMS, along with its being paperless, is central to helping ISOs improve their operations at all levels."
Switch Commerce will demonstrate VoiceTMS and its Web-based terminal management system at the ATMIA Conference West 2004, in San Diego, Sept. 20-22, in booth 26.
