Prepaid Media appoints new CEO

NASHUA, N.H. - Prepaid Media, a media outlet and information services provider to the prepaid card industry, appointed Anil D. Aggarwal its chief executive. According to a news release, Aggarwal also will serve on Prepaid Media's board of directors.

"We are very pleased to welcome Anil Aggarwal to the team as CEO," said Jonathan A. Weiner, president, Prepaid Media. "Anil's record of success as a leader of high-growth organizations and proven ability to identify business opportunities and develop new products and services will help facilitate our rapid growth."

From 2004 to 2006, Aggarwal was chief executive and a director of TSYS Prepaid, a wholly owned subsidiary of Total System Services. Before that, Aggarwal co-founded Clarity Payment Solutions, and founded and chaired the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association.

Aggarwal received his Juris Doctor cum laude and with honors in his concentration, business organizations and finance law, from Boston University School of Law. He has a B.S. from Albright College.
