Prepaid card association elects chairman

The Network Branded Prepaid Card Association has elected Jon Palmer, CEO of FSV Payment Systems, chairman of the board. The association's directors voted Palmer into office during the organization's June 8th annual meeting, but his election was announced Wednesday. He will assume his duties July 1. The Montvale, N.J.-based non-profit trade group, which promotes network-branded prepaid cards, also is celebrating its fifth year of operation. FSV Payment Systems is a privately held Houston-based prepaid card program manager and card processor.
