PITTSBURGH -- PNC Bank, a member of The PNC Financial Services Group (NYSC: PNC), has entered into an agreement with Quick Chek, a convenience store chain with locations in northern and central New Jersey, to operate ATMs in the chain's 105 stores.
PNC Bank, which has the ninth-largest bank ATM network in the U.S. with 3,100 machines, will roll out the ATMs in Quick Chek stores this month. According to PNC, the ATMs offer transactions requested most often by users, such as cash dispensing, fast-cash withdrawal and transfers between accounts.
The Quick Chek ATMs will also feature advertising campaigns for in-store specials and promotions.
The ATMs are surcharge-free, meaning PNC Bank does not levy a fee to any ATM users -- even those who are not customers.
"We are delighted to embark on this new relationship with Quick Chek," said James S. Walker, group vice president, self-service banking, PNC Bank. "We are also pleased to make banking with PNC even more convenient by providing our customers with additional ATMs in high-visibility locations throughout the New Jersey market."
