Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Piedmont Advantage Credit Union has announced the addition of mobile services as well as debit and credit processing from the Co-op Financial Services. The $240 million FI already offers its 42,000 members Co-op ATM, a network of 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide, and Co-op Shared Branching, with 5,000 live-teller branches and 2,000 self-service locations.
Piedmont Advantage will now also offer its members Co-op Mobile and Co-op My Deposit Mobile for its members. Co-op Mobile provides to union accounts from a wireless device; My Deposit allows members to make a deposit by taking a picture of the front and back of the check with their mobile device.
Piedmont Advantage CU is also becoming a "full processing" client of Co-op Financial Services with the addition of debit and credit processing.
"We are looking forward to offering new services to our members, particularly the use of mobile services for iPhones, iPad and Android applications," said Judy Tharp, CEO at Piedmont Advantage CU. "We also expect to enhance our internal efficiencies through seamless transactions in debit and credit card processing from Co-op."
