Phoenix Interactive Design Inc. has signed an agreement with BMO Bank of Montreal that will change the way the bank's customers interact with its 2,100 ATMs.
Phoenix's Commander software enables BMO Bank of Montreal cardholders to set shortcuts and preferred preferences on the bank's ATM network. The preferences include "my usual withdrawal," "my usual transfer," "my usual deposit," and more. The preferences appear when the cardholder inserts his card into one of the bank's ATMs.
Phoenix Commander also enables bank officials to communicate personally relevant information and product offers to cardholders.
"We now have the ability to have more meaningful conversations with our customers via an ABM (ATM)," said Andrew Irvine, vice president of the Integrated Distribution division of BMO Financial Group, which is based in Toronto. "This new technology will allow us to talk to the cardholder about simple offers, such as increasing a line of credit. If the cardholder says yes, bank employees can fulfill that need on the spot through our ABM."
Phoenix Commander helps manage BMO Bank's network, said Marco Di Cola, Phoenix Interactive vice president of business development.
"Our solution provides real-time customer usage and campaign metrics that are critical for managing an intelligent ABM network," Di Cola said. "Introducing Phoenix Commander into the self-service network allows a company to target, to deliver and to manage content in a timely and cost-effective manner." Phoenix Commander also enables financial institutions to market by region, location, time, date and customer, dramatically reducing lead times.
