Payments tech firm Yalamanchili intros white label mobile wallet for FIs

September 11, 2013

Banking middleware firm Yalamanchili has launched a customizable mobile banking app capable of supporting international money transfers, card account management and a variety of value-added services. The secure mobile wallet will help FIs respond to increasing demand for a wide variety of mobile financial services, the company said in a news release.

The Mumbai, India-based company said its user-friendly wallet offers a high level of functionality, allowing users to top-up card balances, view transaction histories, purchase prepaid airtime, suspend card activities and even request ATM PIN changes.

The application can be fully branded and its various functions activated (or not) according to client requirements, the company said.

"The key to producing a valuable white label mobile wallet solution is to build in as broad a range of service support features as possible," said Yalamanchili Europe president Chris Ellis.

Yalamanchili tools and services allow customers to create and manage their own card products liberated from the constraints of the traditional legacy platform processor model, the company said.

Its payments platform provides direct control over product configuration down to individual card parameters. The mobile wallet application extends these capabilities to the mobile channel.

"This application gives banks and financial institutions a rapid and direct route into the mobile market, together with all the opportunity this provides for generating additional revenues, deepening relationships with customers and enhancing their understanding of consumer buying habits," Ellis said.
