Louisville, Kentucky-based ATM operator Payment Alliance International has acquired Eclipse Cash Systems.
The acquisition adds more than 15,000 ATM terminals and brings an additional four financial institution partnerships to PAI's existing nationwide network of over 75,000 ATMs, according to a company press release.
"Eclipse brings an important set of business expansion opportunities to PAI," David Dove, PAI CEO said in a news statement.
Eclipse has been providing full-service ATM solutions since 2003. The Chandler, Arizona, company offers transaction processing services, permanent ATM placements, mobile ATM deployments for large-scale events, parts and repair services and a wireless communication platform.
"The opportunity to join PAI is important to all of us at Eclipse," Chris Biedrzycki, Eclipse CEO said in the release. "Leveraging PAI's infrastructure and ATM expertise will benefit both our customers and staff through continued growth."
The entire Eclipse team will join PAI but continue to work out of its Chandler office. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
PAI has not been shy about acquiring new companies. In June, the company acquired Massachusetts-based ATM operator ISA-Ecash. PAI itself was acquired by private equity firm Further Global Capital Management earlier this year, which is when Drove, a former Cardtronics president, took over as CEO.
