IMM and Advanced Fraud Solutions say they are now able to provide almost real-time notification of potentially fraudulent check transactions.

IMM, a provider of integrated eSignature, workflow, and document solutions for, and Advanced Fraud Solutions, a CUSO formed in 2007 to combat financial fraud, have expanded their existing partnership to provide almost real-time notification of potentially fraudulent check transactions.
In 2012, the companies integrated AFS TrueChecks and IMM Teller Item Capture to help FIs mitigate fraudulent check transactions at the teller line.
According to a press release, the partners are now adding functionalities that include:
Additionally, IMM is now offering the AFS solution directly to customers through the Teller Item Capture platform. As it has from the onset, the collaboration also includes the AFS integration with Deposit Chek Service from Early Warning.
Teller Item Capture interfaces directly with a financial institution's core platform; the coordination with TrueChecks gives tellers real-time visibility and provides alerts of potentially fraudulent transactions.
Detection is embedded directly into the IMM teller application to streamline frontline workflow and create a seamless experience at the teller line, the release said.
